Home lending is a complex business process of providing financial assistance for purchasing or refinancing residential properties. It requires evaluating borrowers’ creditworthiness, determining loan eligibility and disbursing funds for property transactions. These processes are also strictly governed by Government regulations.
Over time the real-estate industry has seen an exponential growth with first time home buyers and investors splashing money to be in the market. A good and robust home lending system would benefit financial institute and borrowers alike, by evaluating and forecasting risks.
Problem Statement
We worked with a Large Financial Institute based in Australia, who wanted to enhance their existing home loan workflow system by integrating with complex legacy systems.
Their requirements were also around modernising customer experience by providing digital document management capabilities.
Our Solution
Our team of Process Automation experts along with Solution Engineers implemented a Pega based solution for Home Loan Assessment and Document Preparation.
The Home Lending workflow solution was equipped with Machine Learning systems for various business functionality and validations and our Data Engineers and Application Developers were heavily involved.
Implementation of STP process was completed for hundreds of complex business rules using Pega’s Business Rules Extractor.
